After a week back at school, we decided to give ourselves a little treat and get out of Dodge for the day. We chose to go to SFera. It's a mall in Bielsko-Biala, a bigger city about an hour away by bus. Our main mission - to watch Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (or, in Polish, Opowiesci z Narnii: Lew, Czarownica, i Stara Szafa). Movies that are popular with children (such as this one or Harry Potter, etc.) are often dubbed into Polish, but we were able to find a few showtimes with Polish subtitles. While we waited for our show to start, we occupied ourselves at the bowling alley also located in the mall. Ah, to wear bowling shoes again! =) Though our scores weren't entirely fabulous, we had fun and even fit in a game of air hockey (see our fiercely competitive mugs below). We also enjoyed the movie and didn't have any travel problems - a great day overall. Today should be nice as well - working on lesson plans, a few little chores, and then an English worship service at 5:00. We hope you're all well, also. God bless.
