We are on our way to becoming Polish speakers. One of the teachers at school has volunteered to tutor me, Jon, and Heather, and we had our first lesson today. George - a Polish, philosophy, and history teacher - admitted that our lessons may be a bit "experimental" since he speaks limited English and we are just beginning Polish. It was a good first lesson though as we reviewed the Polish alphabet (pictured here) and some basic pronunciation. It's difficult to have to start at such as basic level, but it's important for us to have a good foundation. We're looking forward to our lessons and to getting to know George better.
