Layover in Lincoln-Land
Well, for our first entry, we have bad news and good news. The bad news is that we were unable to leave for Poland on Wednesday as planned due to bureaucratic complications. The good news is that we now have more time to prepare - time to publish our first newsletter, time to spend with family, and time to further prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually.We've been spending our unexpected layover in Springfield, IL with Jon's folks. They've been gracious enough to allow us to camp out in the basement and picture what life might have been like if we never went to school or found gainful employment.
This is our first official effort at blogging so we'll see how it works and hopefully add more as we become more proficient. We hope you're all well and look forward to hearing from you soon. God bless.
